Lessons in detail

How your bass lessons work.

The first lessons

Two-finger plucking, clean muting and your first basslines built on root notes. You will quickly notice how the bass and the kick drum carry a song's groove together.

Over time

Scales and arpeggios across the whole fretboard, walking bass, slap technique and grooves from funk, soul, reggae, rock and metal. You also learn to read notation and tabs.

For kids and adults

With a short-scale bass, kids and teens can get started easily too. Many adults come to us through their own band, or because they finally want to play in one.

Practising at home

Practise with a metronome or a drum loop: timing is everything on bass. For home, a small practice amp or a headphone amp is all you need.
